The grandma and the mother are very nice people, trying to speak english. THe location is very good, close to railway station, bus terminal, a few minutes walk to the old town. Cheap rate!
On the booking website, they stated that they have 10 rooms, but I think actually they only have 3 rooms marked 7,8 and 9. The office is just beside our room door, I think I can even hear the staff breathing. The shower in the room is just beside the bed, which I had never seen before. The bed is too small for 2 people, and the room is too dark.

I had a really great experience at this hotel. the location was perfect - right in the center of the city. This made it incredibly convenient for exploring and shopping. Secondly, I was impressed with the service and attention to detail. The host was welcoming and helpful, ensuring that I had everything I needed. Lastly, the rooms came with breakfast included. Although there were some complaints about the variety, I found it to be adequate and a great way to start the day.
The only drawback was the lack of soundproofing in the rooms.

Excellent location and low price make this hotel a good option for visiting Riga. If you need a hotel only to sleep, you will be satisfied. Rooms are not sparkling, but, to be fair, not dirty either. Wi-fi available for free. The stuff is very helpful.
Rooms are very small, and it was the very first time when I've seen a shower in the room, just next to the bed :-) Breakfast was rather poor but not terrible.

the location was perfect - right in the heart of Riga. I loved being able to easily walk to all the main attractions and explore the city. Secondly, the staff were very friendly and attentive. They made sure I had everything I needed and were always ready to assist me. Lastly, the rooms were basic but comfortable. I appreciated having a private bathroom and the fact that breakfast was included in the price. I found this hotel to be a great value for money and I would definitely stay here again.
Noise from other guests.

Good location and WIFI. Breakfast unusual! Could only make out three rooms numbered 7, 8 and 9!
No room keys or evacuation route

The hotel was close to the city center.
The staff didn't know English language at all, they didn't give us a key for the room. The cabin shower was in the middle of the room.Very poor breakfast with bad coffee.

The location was excellent, with all the main attractions and restaurants just a short walk away. The owners were helpful, going above and beyond to book our taxi to the airport at a great price. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly and the breakfast provided was sufficient. Despite some minor drawbacks, we found the room to be clean and the bed comfortable. we would recommend this hotel for a budget-friendly and practical stay in the city.

Best was the location. Room was small but there was everything I needed: good bed, towels and shower. Also breakfast was included, although it delivered to my room and it was only tea (or coffee), croissangt with meat fillinng and sweet cake. There is no brakfast room or table the room to eat, so I ateon the bed, no problem. So, if some need luxury breakafas this not for you.
Not easy to find: there is a small sidealley with just a small sign to lead you and in the sign is mentioned different hotel (which has been Hotel Cirkus accordin g to the text!), although it is actually exactly whta you are looking for, Hotel Cirkus. Hotelkeepers, a middle-aged women and er old mother, speak English enough. They are friendly, no problem. You may be confused because there are no keys for you: hotelkeepers come and open the gate of the sidealley (yes, it is clodes from evening to morning and maybe also on weekends) when you have pushed the small button just above the hotel sign on the left wall, and they open also you hotel room every time for you.

It was a place where you can sleep overnight in the center of city with a very small budget.
This is a hostel where you have your own room and can sleep overnight in the center of city, but you should not expect anything else.

The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic! It is right in the heart of the city, close to all the main attractions and within walking distance of many great restaurants. You can easily explore Riga without any hassle. The staff here is also very friendly and helpful, always willing to assist you with any requests or questions you may have. The rooms are basic but clean and tidy, with all the basic amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Plus, they offer a delicious breakfast to start your day off right.
While there were a few minor issues, overall, my stay at this hotel was perfect.

Good thing was that it's 5 min walk from central bus and train station. Also, it's right in the centre of Riga. There was a shower and a toilet in the room, comfy bed and wireless; for student traveler like myself Cirkus was great ;)
Well, no considering the price! I have expected to see way worse.
